Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
Postdoctoral training in Periodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and M.P.H. from the Harvard School of Public Health. Faculty of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Andrew Melcer has enjoyed nearly thirty years of practice dedicated to periodontics and implant dentistry including periodontal research at the Forsyth Dental Center, Public Health at Massachusetts General Hospital, and postdoctoral teaching at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He has associated with Charles River Dental Associates since its inception and has an eclectic practice philosophy incorporating non-surgical and surgical treatment with orthodontics as an important adjunct.
Dr. Melcer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, the Harvard Schools of Dental Medicine and Public Health and has post-doctoral degrees in periodontology and oral medicine. His hobbies include travel, golf, antique rugs, and walks with his wife and Scottish terrier.
